Miami Lakes, FL – Injuries Reported in I-75 Crash near NW 138th St

Miami Lakes, FL (June 14, 2023) – At 7:00 a.m. on June 13, troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol were called to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident that took place in the Miami Lakes area.

According to official reports, a collision involving multiple vehicles took place on the southbound side of Interstate 75. The accident blocked several lanes in the area of Northwest 138^th Street.

Authorities arrived at the scene and located one vehicle flipped over onto its roof. An SUV was severely damaged on the front end.

Firefighters and Florida Highway Patrol blocked off multiple lanes as they worked to clear the scene.

Medical personnel responded to the site of the crash to care for injured victims. A Miami-Dade Air Rescue helicopter reported to the site of the accident to transport at least one person to a local hospital for emergency treatment.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
