Micanopy, FL – Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-75 Near Exit 368 Leaves One Dead

Micanopy, FL (October 20, 2025) – A deadly multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 75 in Marion County left at least one person dead on Sunday, October 19. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) responded to the crash around 8:10 p.m., a few miles north of Exit 368. Early reports indicate that several vehicles were involved, causing significant traffic delays that stretched back to the Alachua-Marion County line.

First responders quickly arrived to assist the victims and clear the wreckage from the roadway. Despite their efforts, at least one individual was pronounced dead at the scene. FHP troopers remained on-site for several hours as they documented evidence and directed traffic around the crash site. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
