Micanopy, FL – Two Injured Multi-Vehicle Truck Crash on I-75 near MM 375

Micanopy, FL (January 14, 2023) – Two people were left hurt as a result of a multi-vehicle accident on Friday morning. At around 8:30 a.m., on January 13, the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a traffic accident on Interstate 75.

Reports show that several vehicles, including a box truck, collided on the interstate during the morning hours. The impact of the crash sent one of the vehicles off the roadway near mile marker 375.

One person was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated by the Micanopy Fire Department. A man and woman were both injured in the crash and transported to the University of Florida- Health Shands Hospital for further care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
