Monroe Co, MI – One Injured in I-75 SB Crash at US-24
Monroe Co, MI (April 18, 2025) – A two-car crash injury occurred Friday morning, April 18, on the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 at US-24 in Monroe County, causing major disruptions during early traffic hours. The collision took place around 9:45 a.m. and involved at least two vehicles, according to local traffic alerts and first responders at the scene.
Emergency crews from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Michigan State Police, and local fire departments responded swiftly to the crash. One person was injured and transported by ambulance to a nearby medical center for treatment. The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, reportedly sustained non-life-threatening injuries, including a shoulder fracture and multiple contusions. Another motorist involved in the crash was evaluated on scene but did not require hospitalization.
