Monroe, MI – Accident with Injuries Reported on I-75 near Front St (Exit 13)

Monroe, MI (January 30, 2023) – The Michigan state police responded to the scene of a traffic crash that took place in Monroe that left at least one of the involved parties with injuries.

The accident was reported just before 8:40 a.m. on January 29. Reports provided by the Michigan State Police show that a traffic incident blocked the southbound side of Interstate 75 in the area after exit 13 at Front Street.

The state police and firefighters responded to the scene and secured two lanes of travel. Authorities redirected traffic through the area as they provided assistance at the scene.

At least one person suffered injuries in the accident. Paramedics provided care for the injured victims and transported those who required further medical care to area hospitals.

The incident remains under investigation by the state police at this time.
