Monroe, MI – MSP Responds to Injury Crash on I-75 near La Plaisance Rd (Exit 11)

Monroe, MI (February 6, 2023) – The police and firefighters responded to the scene of a traffic crash that took place in the Monroe area that sent at least one victim to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.

At around 8:25 p.m. on February 4, authorities were notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of a traffic crash that took place on Interstate 75.

According to officials, a traffic accident blocked the left lane of travel on the northbound side of Interstate 75. The incident caused delays near exit 11 at La Plaisance Road.

Michigan State police and firefighters worked to remove the damaged vehicles and debris from the roadway.

Paramedics were dispatched to care for victims and transfer them to local hospitals.

The circumstances surrounding the crash are currently being investigated.
