Monroe, MI – Serious Accident on NB I-75 at MM 2 Leaves One Trapped and Victim Airlifted

Monroe, MI (September 14, 2023) – On September 14th, a serious accident occurred on northbound I-75 at Mile Marker 2, drawing a swift response from Morin Point Fire, Washington Twp Fire, Erie Fire, MCA, Michigan State Police, and Erie Police.

In the aftermath of the collision, all northbound lanes of I-75 were temporarily closed to facilitate the emergency response.

The incident involved multiple vehicles and resulted in one person being trapped inside their vehicle. First responders acted promptly, and the injured individual was airlifted from the scene by medical personnel.
