Morrow, GA – Auto Accident Reported on I-75 near Mt Zion Blvd

Morrow, GA (March 10, 2023) – At 1:20 a.m. on March 10, emergency crews were dispatched to provide assistance at the scene of an automobile accident in the Morrow area that ended in injuries.

According to officials, an unknown number of vehicles collided on the southbound side of Interstate 75. The incident blocked the road in the area near Mount Zion Boulevard. Two lanes of travel were disrupted as a result of the crash, causing delays throughout the area.

Emergency medical services responded to the scene to care for the injured victims. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for further medical care.

Georgia Highway Patrol and firefighters remained at the scene extensively as they worked to clear the road.

Investigations into the crash are currently underway.
