Morrow, GA – Injuries Follow Accident on I-75 near Jonesboro Rd

Morrow, GA (January 13, 2023) – The Georgia Highway Patrol and local firefighters were dispatched to provide assistance at the scene of a motor vehicle crash that took place in Morrow on Thursday.

On January 12, emergency crews were called to provide assistance at the scene of a crash on Interstate 75. At around 8:50 a.m., a traffic accident blocked the northbound side of Interstate 75. The incident caused delays near exit 233 Jonesboro Road.

Emergency officials responded to the scene of the accident and blocked off multiple lanes as they went to work on clearing the road.

At least one person suffered injuries and had to be transported to a local hospital.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
