Newport, MI – Crash on I-75 N at S. Huron River Dr Causes Injuries

Newport, MI (February 21, 2025) – A major crash on February 21 led to injuries and full lane closures on northbound Interstate 75 near S. Huron River Drive, just past Newport Road. Michigan State Police (MSP) reported that emergency response teams were dispatched to assist those involved. Initial reports confirmed that multiple individuals sustained injuries, with several requiring transportation to local medical facilities for further treatment.
