Oakland Co., MI – Fatal Wreck on I-75 Claims Life of Texas Woman

Oakland County, MI (February 20, 2025) – A tragic crash on Interstate 75 early Thursday morning, February 20 claimed the life of a 24-year-old woman from Houston, TX. According to Michigan State Police, the accident occurred around 6:40 a.m. when the woman, driving a Jeep Compass, lost control of her vehicle and veered into the path of an oncoming gravel hauler. The impact was severe, pushing the Jeep approximately 750 feet before the truck was able to come to a stop.

Despite the immediate arrival of emergency responders, the young woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the gravel hauler was unharmed. Authorities are working to notify the victim’s family while conducting a thorough investigation into the incident. The local police are handling the investigations at this time.
