Oakland Co, MI – One Injured in I-75 NB Crash After E Holly Rd
Oakland Co, MI (April 21, 2025) – An injury crash involving two cars occurred late Monday night, April 21, on the northbound side of Interstate 75 just after E Holly Road in Oakland County.
According to reports from the Michigan State Police and Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 11:57 p.m. when two vehicles collided in the right lane of the interstate, causing significant traffic disruption. Authorities stated that one of the vehicles sustained front-end damage, while the other had visible damage on the driver’s side.
Emergency responders arrived within minutes. Firefighters worked to safely extract at least one individual who was trapped inside a vehicle, while paramedics treated the victims at the scene. One person, whose identity has not been released, was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital with what officials described as moderate, non-life-threatening injuries.
The right lane and shoulder remained closed for over an hour while crews cleared the scene and conducted an initial investigation. The cause of the crash is still under review, but no charges have been filed at this time.
