Oakland Co, MI – Two Injured in Crash on NB I-75 at 14 Mile Rd Exit
Oakland Co, MI (May 7, 2025) – An injury two-car crash occurred on Wednesday morning in Oakland County, disrupting traffic and prompting an emergency response. The collision happened at approximately 7:12 a.m. on the northbound I-75 exit ramp to 14 Mile Rd, where the left lane was blocked due to the incident.
Authorities say two vehicles collided while attempting to merge on the exit ramp. One of the drivers sustained injuries described as moderate, including chest trauma and a possible concussion. Emergency medical personnel from Oakland County EMS arrived promptly and administered first aid on site before transporting the injured individual to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The second driver was reportedly unharmed.
Firefighters from the local fire department assisted with clearing debris and ensuring the area was safe. Police officers from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office and Michigan State Police responded to the scene, managed the flow of traffic, and began an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation. Authorities have not released the names of those involved, and no citations or charges have been reported. Traffic flow resumed within a few hours after the vehicles were removed.
