Oakland, MI – I-75 Accident Reported near 9 Mile Rd Ends in Injuries

Oakland, MI (February 12, 2023) – At 11:05 p.m. on February 10, the Michigan Department of Transportation notified officials that they were needed at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in Oakland.

Law enforcement reports indicate that vehicles collided on the southbound side of the interstate during the evening hours. The incident prompted officials to close off three lanes of travel in the area after exit 60 at 9 Mile Road.

The Michigan State Police and area firefighters responded to the scene to provide assistance.

At least one person suffered injuries and had to be transported to an area hospital for medical care.

The police are actively investigating the incident.
