Oakland, MI – I-75 Auto Accident near 12 Mile Rd (Exit 63) Ends in Injuries

Oakland, MI (January 28, 2023) – A vehicle accident took place in the Oakland area that prompted the response of state police and firefighters on Friday evening.

Just before 7 p.m., on January 27, the Michigan State Police was notified that a traffic crash occurred on Interstate 75.

According to officials, a traffic accident took place on the northbound side of the roadway during the evening hours. The incident caused delays near exit 63 at 12 Mile Road. Delay is extended back to exit 61 at Interstate 696 as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.

Paramedics were called to care for the injured victims while on-site.

At least one person was transported to a local hospital for emergency medical care.

The Michigan State Police are currently investigating the accident.
