Oakland, MI – Injuries Follow Crash on Tuskegee Airmen Memorial Highway near Square Lake Rd

Oakland, MI (February 12, 2023) – Officers with the Michigan State Police were summoned to a crash that took place in the Oakland area on Saturday evening that resulted in injuries.

Calls for help were received at around 6:25 p.m. on February 11.

According to reports from the Michigan Department of Transportation, an automobile accident occurred on Tuskegee Airmen Memorial Highway along the northbound side of the road.

The incident prompted officials to block the right lane of travel near Square Lake Road at exit 75.

Paramedics were called to care for the victims who suffered injuries and to transport them to local hospitals.

The state police are currently investigating the accident.
