Oakland, MI – Injuries Follow Traffic Wreck on I-75 near 11 Mile Rd

Oakland, MI (January 12, 2023) – Authorities were called to provide assistance at the scene of a traffic accident in the Oakland area that resulted in injuries. The accident was reported at around 6:40 p.m. on January 11.

The Michigan Department of Transportation reported a traffic accident in the right lane of travel on Interstate 75 along the southbound side of the roadway. The incident caused stop-and-go traffic that extended from exit 62 at 11 Mile Road back to 14 Mile Road at exit 65.

Authority spends an extended time at the scene of the accident. At least one person suffered injuries and had to be transported to a local hospital.

The Michigan State Police are in charge of the investigation to determine what led to the crash taking place.
