Oakland, MI – injuries Reported in Auto Wreck on I-75 near 12 mile Rd (Exit 63)

Oakland, MI (January 21, 2023) – Emergency officials assisted the Michigan State Police at the scene of an accident that said at least one victim to a local hospital with injuries on January 20.

At around 7:20 p.m., the police and firefighters were dispatched to a traffic crash on Interstate 75. Local news sources state that a crash blocked the northbound side of Interstate 75. The incident caused stop-and-go traffic that extended from the area before 12 mile Road at exit 63 back to Interstate 696 at exit 61.

Emergency officials remained at the scene for an extended period. At least one person suffered injuries in the crash. EMS provided care to the injured victims and provided them with transportation to local hospitals.

The state police in Michigan are currently investigating the crash.
