Oakland, MI – Injury Accident Reported on I-75 near 11 Mile Rd (Exit 62)

Oakland, MI (March 13, 2023) – At 3:00 p.m. on March 12, the Michigan State Police responded to the scene of an automobile accident in the Oakland area that ended in injuries.

According to officials, a collision between vehicles occurred on the northbound side of Interstate 75. The crash blocked the left lane of travel near Exit 62 at 11 Mile Road.

The Michigan Department of Transportation reported stop-and-go traffic that extended back to Exit 60 as the police and firefighters worked to clear the scene.

At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.

The circumstances surrounding the crash are currently being investigated.
