Ocala, FL – Fatal Multi-Vehicle Accident on I-75 Near Reddick Claims One Life

Ocala, FL (November 29, 2024) – A tragic multi-vehicle crash on I-75 northbound near mile marker 365 in Reddick on Friday evening, November 29, resulted in one fatality. The Florida Highway Patrol reported that the accident, which occurred around 6 p.m., involved multiple vehicles, including a pickup truck that overturned. The impact left the truck significantly damaged, with debris scattered across the highway. Multiple teams from the Marion County Fire Rescue responded to the scene, providing emergency medical care and managing the chaos. One person was pronounced dead at the scene. While the exact number of injured individuals remains unknown, authorities confirmed that others were evaluated by medical personnel.
