Ocala, FL – Three Hurt in Car Crash on I-75 near MM 352

Ocala, FL (March 19, 2023) – An automobile accident reported in Ocala sent several people to area hospitals with injuries on Saturday morning, March 18.

At around 9:00 a.m., the Florida Highway Patrol and Ocala Fire Rescue officials were notified that an automobile accident had occurred on Interstate 75.

According to officials, two vehicles collided on the northbound side of the interstate near mile marker 352. The crash blocked multiple northbound lanes, prompting officials to shut down the highway for an extended period.

Both drivers suffered injuries in the crash. One passenger also suffered injuries. The three victims were treated at the scene before being transported to area hospitals by EMS.

At this time, the motor vehicle crash is being investigated by Florida Highway Patrol.
