Ocala, FL – Truck Crash on I-75 near MM 352 Ends in Injuries

Ocala, FL (March 16, 2023) – One person was transported to an area hospital for the treatment of injuries following an automobile accident that took place in the Ocala area.

At around 6:45 a.m. on March 13, the Florida Highway Patrol was notified that a crash took place on Interstate 75 that required assistance.

Preliminary crash investigations indicate that a Ford pickup truck collided with a semi-truck on the northbound lanes of the interstate. Florida Highway Patrol and area firefighters responded to the scene and located the damaged vehicles near mile marker 352.

One person was injured in the crash and had to be transported to a local hospital.

The highway was shut down for approximately three hours as crews worked to clear the scene and conduct an investigation. These investigations are currently ongoing.
