Ooltewah, TN – Extrication Required Following I-75 Crash near Artesian Cir

Ooltewah, TN (January 31, 2023) – A traffic accident was reported in the Ooltewah area that resulted in injuries.

On January 30, the Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene of a traffic accident on Interstate 75.

Preliminary investigations show that a traffic collision involving a small black SUV and an unknown number of vehicles occurred on Interstate 75 in the area near artesian circle. The incident blocked the roadway near Starbucks.

One person had to be extricated from their vehicle.

Emergency medical services responded to the scene to care for the victim before transporting them to a local hospital.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
