Ooltewah, TN – Injuries Follow Accident on I-75 near Lee Highway

Ooltewah, TN (February 24, 2023) – A crash took place in Hamilton County on Thursday evening that resulted in injuries for at least one person involved.

The accident was reported at approximately 4:15 p.m. on February 23.

Official reports provided by the Tennessee Highway Patrol show that a collision occurred on the northbound side of Interstate 75. The incident prompted the police and firefighters to block off a portion of the north side of the roadway near Lee Highway at Exit 11.

Authorities worked to remove the damaged vehicles and debris from the roadway.

At least one person was injured and had to be transported by ambulance to a local hospital for medical attention.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation at this time.
