Ooltewah, TN – Injury Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-75 NB near Lee Hwy Exit

Ooltewah, TN (May 31, 2025) – A multi-vehicle accident on the morning of May 30 caused injuries and heavy delays on the northbound lanes of Interstate 75 in Ooltewah, just before the Lee Highway (Exit 11) interchange. According to reports from the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT), the crash occurred during early commuter hours and involved at least two vehicles. The incident prompted an immediate response from the Tennessee Highway Patrol and Ooltewah area authorities, who arrived to assess the scene and assist the injured. Several individuals suffered non-life-threatening injuries, with at least two people receiving on-site first aid. One individual was transported to a nearby hospital for additional treatment and observation.
