Parrish, FL – Two Semi-Trucks, Pickup Truck Collide on I-75

Parrish, FL (March 10, 2023) – Injuries were reported following a motor vehicle accident that took place in Parrish on Tuesday morning, March 7.

At around 5:45 a.m., authorities were called to the scene of an accident on Interstate 75.

Reports show that two semi-trucks and one pickup truck collided on the southbound side of the interstate in Manatee County. The incident blocked the road just south of the Hillsborough and Manatee County lines.

One semi-truck in the pickup truck involved in the accident overturned. Both vehicles came to rest, blocking multiple lanes on the interstate.

Emergency medical services rendered aid to the victims who suffered injuries. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for further medical care.

At this time, Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
