Piqua, OH – One Injured in I-75 Crash near MM 85
Piqua, OH (February 18, 2023) – One person was transported to an area hospital following a motor vehicle accident that occurred during the afternoon hours on Friday, February 17.
Just after 3:45 p.m., authorities were called to the scene of an automobile accident on Interstate 75.
Reports from the Ohio State Highway Patrol show that a southbound 2019 Tesla T3 collided with a 2013 Toyota Camry and went off the road as a result of the collision.
Authorities responded to the scene and secured the roadway near mile marker 85.
The driver of the Toyota, 67-year-old James Washburn, was not injured in the accident. The driver of the Tesla, 23-year-old Thomas Wallace, was transported by ambulance to Upper Valley Medical for emergency treatment of serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
