Riceville, TN (March 17, 2025) – A collision on I-75 southbound near Exit 42 resulted in multiple injuries on Monday, March 17. The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reported that the crash occurred in the late afternoon involving multiple vehicles, leading to injuries among those inside. Emergency responders arrived promptly, assessing and treating injured victims at the scene. One individual was transported to a local hospital for further medical care. Authorities have yet to disclose the number of people injured or the extent of their conditions. The accident caused lane closures as officials worked to investigate and clear the roadway.
