Riceville, TN – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-75 N/MM 40 Leaves Multiple Injured

Riceville, TN (April 12, 2025) – Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash along Interstate 75 northbound near Mile Marker 40 on Saturday, April 12, according to the McMinn County Sheriff’s Office. The accident occurred around 5:57 p.m. and involved at least three vehicles. Emergency personnel, including the Tennessee Highway Patrol and local EMS teams, responded promptly to the scene. Two individuals were transported to a nearby hospital with injuries that are believed to be non-life-threatening. Others were treated at the scene for minor wounds.
