Richmond, KY – Two-Vehicle Crash at Exit 83 on I-75 Results in One Death, Three Injuries

Richmond, KY (January 4, 2025) – A tragic accident at Exit 83 on I-75 near Buc-ee’s on Duncannon Lane left one person dead and three others seriously injured on January 4. According to the Richmond Police Department, the crash involved two vehicles and prompted a swift response from Crash Reconstruction Units. First responders on the scene reported that three individuals sustained severe injuries and were rushed to the UK Hospital for emergency medical care. The names of the victims have not been released pending family notifications.  Authorities continue investigating the circumstances leading to the collision, including potential contributing factors such as road conditions and driver behavior.
