Rossford, OH – Truck Crash on I-75 near Lime City Rd Ends in Injuries

Rossford, OH (February 11, 2023) – The driver of a semi-truck was arrested following a crash that took place in the Rossford area that left two people injured on Friday morning, February 10.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was called to the scene of an automobile accident on Interstate 75. According to law enforcement, a semi-truck was traveling north on the interstate when it crashed into an overpass near Lime City Road. The impact of the collision caused multiple pieces of debris to scatter along the highway, striking three other vehicles.

Two people were hurt as a result of the accident. The victims are treated at the scene and transported to area hospitals.

The driver of the semi, 43-year-old Lavoris Ruth, was subsequently arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident and commercial driver prohibitions.

The crash is under investigation at this time.
