Sarasota County, FL – Collision with Injuries Reported on I-75 near Exit 207

Sarasota County, FL (February 18, 2023) – The Florida Highway Patrol responded to provide assistance at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that sent at least one person to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.

At around 5:45 p.m. on February 17, authorities responded to the scene and closed off the southbound side of Interstate 75 just beyond Exit 207. The incident caused delays in the area near Bee Ridge Road.

At least one person involved in the accident was injured. Medics cared for the injured victims briefly on-site before transporting them to area hospitals.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
