Sarasota, FL – Injury Crash on I-75 SB near MM 184

Sarasota, FL (January 3, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a traffic crash with reported injuries along southbound Interstate 75 near mile marker 184 on Thursday, January 1.

According to local dispatch logs, first responders were called to the scene just after 10:00 p.m. for a crash on I-75 southbound. Units from the Northport Fire District and other agencies arrived and located at least one vehicle involved, confirming that at least one person had sustained injuries in the collision.
