Sarasota, FL – Serious Accident on I-75 NB at MM 203 Injures One

Sarasota, FL (March 13, 2025) – An injury crash occurred Thursday afternoon on Interstate 75 Northbound at mile marker 203, resulting in injuries to at least one individual. Emergency responders, including paramedics, firefighters, and law enforcement officers, were dispatched to the scene at approximately 3:40 p.m. to assist those affected and provide necessary medical care.

According to authorities, the collision temporarily blocked the center lane of I-75 NB, causing significant traffic delays for commuters traveling through the area. Firefighters from the Sarasota County Fire Department worked diligently to extricate at least one injured occupant from a heavily damaged vehicle, using specialized equipment to remove the individual safely. Once freed, the injured party was immediately transported by ambulance to Sarasota Memorial Hospital for further evaluation and treatment of their injuries.
