Sarasota, FL – Seven Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-75 Near Bee Ridge Rd

Sarasota, FL (August 13, 2024) – A multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 75 in Sarasota left seven people injured on the afternoon of August 13th. The crash occurred as a Nissan traveling northbound attempted to change lanes near Bee Ridge Road, colliding with a Mack Truck in the center lane. The impact caused the Mack Truck to strike a Ford in the right lane, leading to a chain reaction. All seven individuals involved sustained non-life-threatening injuries. They were quickly assessed by emergency medical personnel on-site before being transported to local hospitals for further treatment.
