Seffner, FL – Woman Fatally Injured in I-74 Crash near MM 263

Seffner, FL (January 8, 2023) – A woman has died as a result of a traffic accident that took place in Hillsborough County on Thursday morning. On January 5, the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a traffic accident on Interstate 75.

At approximately 3:20 a.m., a Volkswagen Jetta was traveling south on Interstate 75 when it became involved in a collision near mile marker 263. The vehicle then struck several construction barrels and a guardrail.

The female driver of the Volkswagen was fatally injured. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported in the accident.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
