Protect Your Legal Rights After an I-75 Accident
Interstate 75 can be potentially dangerous for drivers who are traveling on it. Each year, so many accidents take place on this road that it has earned the reputation of being one of the deadliest roads in our country. If you are traveling on Interstate 75, it is important that you recognize the dangers of the road in order to protect yourself from being harmed in an accident.
The vast majority of accidents on Interstate 75, as well as across the country, were due to driver error, such as speeding, following too closely, or driving while intoxicated. We also see many accidents take place as a result of mechanical failures. It is important that you keep a safe distance from other vehicles in order to avoid being involved in an accident. Keeping a safe distance will give you enough time to react to any potential dangers ahead.
Heavy truck traffic is also a danger on Interstate 75. Small vehicles can find it especially difficult to navigate around these massive vehicles. In addition to causing crashes and congestion, heavy truck traffic also damages roads and infrastructure. The weight of trucks puts a strain on bridges and pavement, which can lead to costly repairs. Infrastructure problems, such as damaged pavement, missing rails, and other hazards on the road, can also increase the chances of accidents on Interstate 75.
