Springfield Township, MI – Collision Reported on I-75 near Ortonville Rd

Springfield Township, MI (February 13, 2023) – The Michigan Department of Transportation notified area officials that a motor vehicle accident had taken place in Springfield Township that resulted in injuries.

At approximately 5:50 p.m., on February 12, authorities were called to the site of an auto wreck on Interstate 75.

Crash reports indicate that a collision blocked the left lane of travel on the northbound side of the interstate. The incident caused delays near Exit 91 for Ortonville Road.

Emergency medical services responded to provide assistance to the victims who had suffered injuries. At least one party was transported from the scene of the accident to a local hospital by ambulance.

At this time, the circumstances surrounding the collision are being investigated.
