Stockbridge, GA – Auto Accident with Injuries Reported on I-75 near Hudson Bridge Rd

Stockbridge, GA (February 22, 2023) – At 2:30 p.m. on February 21, the Georgia Highway Patrol was notified that they were needed at the scene of an automobile accident in Stockbridge.

Authorities arrived at the scene of the accident and located damaged vehicles blocking the left lane of travel on the southbound side of the interstate. Emergency crews immediately secured the roadway near Exit 224 for Hudson Bridge Road.

Emergency medical services provided treatment to the victims who suffered injuries. At least one party to the accident was then transported to a local hospital for further care.

Highway Patrol and firefighters remained at the scene extensively while working to clear debris from the road and conducting an investigation. Investigations into the accident are currently ongoing.
