Sumter Co., FL – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-75 N/MM 325 Leaves Several Injured

Sumter County, FL (August 23, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash on Saturday, August 23, left several people injured along Interstate 75 North near mile marker 325 in Sumter County. The Florida Highway Patrol reported that multiple vehicles collided in the northbound lanes shortly after midday, forcing troopers and first responders to shut down parts of the interstate.

Several individuals sustained injuries, although the extent of their injuries has not been released. Some victims were treated on-site while others required transport to a nearby hospital for further care. Emergency crews worked for hours to remove the wreckage and restore the flow of traffic. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash and will release more information once it becomes available.
