Tampa, FL – Injury Crash on I-75 SB at MM 257

Tampa, FL (December 23, 2025) – A vehicle crash with reported injuries and a temporary roadblock occurred on Monday, December 22, on southbound Interstate 75 near Mile Marker 257 in Hillsborough County. The Florida Highway Patrol listed the incident around 6:44 a.m., when responders were alerted to a collision that blocked part of the roadway.

Emergency crews, including fire and medical personnel, arrived quickly to assist those hurt in the crash. At least one person was treated for injuries at the scene and later taken to a nearby medical facility for further care. Officials have not yet released how many people were injured or the severity of their injuries.

Traffic was temporarily slowed as responders worked to clear the scene and help the injured. The roadway was later reopened once lanes were removed and conditions were deemed safe for travel.
