Tampa, FL – Injury Crash on I-75 SB at MM266
Tampa, FL (January 7, 2026) – A crash with injuries occurred Tuesday morning on Interstate 75 southbound near mile marker 266 in Tampa.
Florida Highway Patrol data shows the collision took place on Tuesday, January 6, around 8:14 a.m. Emergency crews arrived minutes later on the southbound lanes of I-75 near MM 266 in Hillsborough County.
Responders found at least one person hurt in the crash. Paramedics provided care at the scene and transported anyone who needed further treatment. Authorities have not yet released the names or the condition details of those injured.
Troopers closed part of the roadway briefly to assist the injured and clear the scene. The road reopened after units lifted the blockage. At this time, officials have not said what caused the collision.
