Troy, MI – Injury Crash on SB I-75 Near 11 Mile Rd
Troy, MI (April 9, 2025) – A two-car crash resulting in injuries occurred Wednesday evening on southbound I-75 at 11 Mile Rd. The collision took place around 7:09 p.m. ET and prompted a swift response from emergency crews in Oakland County.
According to preliminary information provided by authorities, the two vehicles collided under circumstances that are still being reviewed by investigators. Troy Fire and EMS units, along with Michigan State Police, arrived quickly at the scene to provide medical aid and manage the flow of traffic in the area. At least one individual was injured in the crash and was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. The extent of the injuries has not yet been disclosed.
Due to the damage sustained by the vehicles involved, firefighters worked to extract those inside safely. Traffic along SB I-75 was slowed for nearly an hour as crews secured the scene and cleared debris from the roadway. The crash site was cleared, and normal traffic patterns resumed shortly after.
The Michigan State Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision. No citations or charges have been announced at this time.
