Troy, MI – Tuskegee Airmen Memorial Highway Accident near W Square Lake Rd Ends in Injuries

Troy, MI (March 5, 2023) – The Michigan State Police out of Oakland County assisted firefighters at the scene of a car crash that took place on Saturday morning that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries.

Just before 1:45 a.m. on March 4, authorities were notified that they were needed at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Interstate 75, the Tuskegee Airmen Memorial Highway.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene and blocked off the right lane of travel on the right shoulder of the road. The incident caused delays in the area of West Square Lake Road as emergency crews worked to remove the vehicles from the scene.

At least one person was injured and transported to a local hospital for emergency medical care.

MSP is currently investigating the accident.
