Tyner, TN – Accident on I-75 near Bonny Oaks Dr Ends in Injuries

Tyner, TN (February 22, 2023) – An automobile accident was reported in the Tyner area on Tuesday evening, February 21, at around 4:55 p.m. The crash sent at least one person to an area hospital with injuries.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an automobile accident on Interstate 75. Authorities confirmed that a collision blocked the southbound side of the roadway near Bonny Oaks Drive.

Authorities went to work quickly on securing the area to prevent further injuries or damage. Firefighters and Highway Patrol worked to remove the damaged vehicles from the road, which were blocking the left lane of travel.

At least one person was injured in the accident and transported to a local hospital.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
