Vandalia, OH – 1-Year-Old Child Killed, Kristen Williams Hurt in I-75 Truck Crash

Vandalia, OH (December 21, 2022) – A young child was fatally injured following an accident that took place in Vandalia. On December 19, the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash that took place on Interstate 75.

According to authorities, 24-year-old Kristen Williams was driving a Nissan Rogue north on Interstate 75 when her vehicle collided with an International 400 truck. After the impact, Williams’s vehicle overturned and struck a median wall. The incident caused delays near Interstate 70.

Williams suffered significant injuries in the crash. She was transported to Miami Valley Hospital. A one-year-old child inside her vehicle died from his injuries while at the scene of the crash.

At this time, the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
