Vandalia, OH – Jeanne Armacost Killed in Three-Vehicle Truck Wreck on I-75

Vandalia, OH (December 24, 2022) – A woman has died as a result of a truck crash involving several vehicles that took place in Vandalia. On December 21, at around 5:15 a.m., emergency crews were called to the scene of an accident on Interstate 75.

According to law enforcement, 57-year-old Jeanne Armacost was driving a 2015 Ford fusion on Interstate 75 when her vehicle became involved in a collision with a 2020 Kenworth tractor-trailer. After the collision, Armacost’s vehicle was then sideswiped by a second vehicle. That vehicle fled the scene of the accident.

Armacost was fatally injured in the accident.

The driver of the semi-truck, 28-year-old Brandon Lawson, was not injured.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
