Wayne Co, MI – Car Crash on SB I-75 at M-39 Exit Ramp Causes Injury
Wayne Co, MI (February 26, 2025) – An injury crash occurred on Wednesday afternoon on southbound I-75 at the M-39 exit ramp in Wayne County. The incident, reported by the Michigan State Police, happened at approximately 3:30 p.m., causing significant traffic disruptions in the area.
According to authorities, a passenger car lost control and collided with a guardrail on the exit ramp, resulting in damage to both the vehicle and the guardrail. The crash caused the exit ramp to be blocked, leading to delays for drivers traveling southbound. Firefighters and paramedics arrived quickly at the scene, where they assisted in extricating the driver from the wreckage. The driver, whose identity has not been released, was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries. Fortunately, no other individuals were reported to be involved in the crash.
Michigan State Police, along with other emergency personnel, worked diligently to manage the scene and redirect traffic to alternate routes while the crash site was cleared. After a brief period of closure, the exit ramp was reopened to allow the flow of traffic to resume.
