Wayne Co, MI – Major Crash on NB I-75 at Mack Results in Injuries

Wayne Co, MI (February 26, 2025) – A two-car crash occurred on Thursday afternoon on northbound I-75 at Mack in Wayne County, leading to significant traffic disruptions. The incident, reported by the Michigan State Police, happened around 2:45 p.m. and involved two cars.

According to the Michigan State Police, the crash occurred when one car hit another in the left center lane, triggering a chain reaction that resulted in the blocking of several lanes. The crash caused the left shoulder, left lane, left center lane, and right center lane to be blocked, creating severe delays for northbound drivers.

Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, with firefighters working to extricate the injured parties from the damaged vehicles. Paramedics provided medical care and transported the injured individuals to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Traffic was severely impacted, with authorities diverting vehicles to alternate routes to reduce congestion. The Michigan State Police coordinated with emergency services to ensure the area was cleared as quickly and safely as possible.
