Wayne Co, MI – NB I-75 Crash Past Livernois Leaves One Injured

Wayne Co, MI (April 21, 2025) – An injury crash was reported on April 21 at the northbound lanes of Interstate 75, just after the Livernois exit in Wayne County. The collision occurred before 2:30 p.m. and initially caused disruptions in traffic flow until the scene was cleared by emergency personnel.

According to local authorities, the crash involved two vehicles traveling in the same direction when one reportedly failed to maintain safe following distance, resulting in a rear-end impact. Emergency medical services responded promptly and assisted at least one person who suffered injuries in the collision. The individual was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed, but they were believed to be non-life-threatening.

Crews from the Detroit Fire Department and local police units responded to the scene and worked swiftly to clear the vehicles involved and restore traffic to its normal flow.
